Civil War Art
Andy Thomas presents Civil War art featuring your favorite Civil War battles.
Andy had begun doing Civil War scenes when
his interest in history and art joined.
In 1991 he did a life size mural of the
Battle of Carthage and that began a desire
to document the Trans-Mississippi battles
that took place but historically have not
been put onto canvas by artists. In addition
to the Trans-Mississippi battles Andy has
painted the Battle of Vicksburg, the Sinking
of the CSS Alabama and recently documented
the Battle of Stones River and Ft. Donelson,
Tennessee.
